The secret to good heart, good health and body is good and right eating. 

The good qualities of fruits and vegetables cannot be listed.

But that doesn't mean one should not restrict oneself only to veggies and fruits. Its not giving a punishment to your body rather its making a healthy choice.


Now lets be practical.
To lose 1 Kg you need to shed 7700 calories.

So, always make your diet such that you take less calories in a day for the amount you spend during your workout.

Suppose you lose 1500 calories then your diet should have only 1000 calories. BUT YOU SHOULD NOT STARVE!

Now you must be thinking how??? The fact why 95% of dieters fail is just because you DO NOT eat right.
Dieting is so wrongly termed and understood amongst us. Dieting does NOT mean STARVING! It just means making HEALTHY choices while eating. So let me set you an example of the sort of diet one should follow:

The DO's for maintaining proper diet:

  1. You should have 6-7 small meals a day
  2. Should never leave a gap of more than 4 hours between 2 meals
  3. Should never feel completely full after a meal
  4. Should drink enough water
  5. Should eat food containing roughage
  6. Should have more of protein and less carbohydrate in the diet
  7. Should eat at proper time during the day


The DON'T's in a diet:
  1. Should NEVER skip a breakfast
  2. Should eventually try to quit smoking
  3. Should be less addicted to alcohol
  4. Should avoid sweetened and carbonated drinks
  5. Should not have a meal after 9 P.M.
  6. Should not have junk foods
  7. Most importantly, NEVER LET YOUR BODY STARVE!


This is one of the most important factors why most of the dieters fail and cannot lose and maintain a steady weight. It is very important for the health experts and dieters to know is that starving doesn't help you lose fat, rather slows down your metabolism, switching your body to STARVATION MODE. So cheat your body and have small meals all through out the day and help it work at its best!
